Someone asked about trading from an office. I trade from home. I know people who work for companies and trade from work. And as someone else mentioned, there are people who manage funds and also trade from work. There isn't much response to the idea of trading for yourself from an office. The main reason for having an office would be because you are managing other people's money and you need to look legitimate. Also some might like getting away from the house. But until you have a track record you might want to keep expenses down.

The only kind of office expense I would be willing to incur would be the cost of a dock for my boat, a satelite dish and after hours Mai Tais on some island.
