The meteor storm will be in November, and is called Leonid. There is a new website with information, leonids.com

It should be the most significant meteor event since 1966, when there were few satellites.

Still, no one can predict whether it will be significant enough to affect the existing satellites. If it kills quite a few of them, there will be a big shake-up of many stocks.

So I guess we should go back to the caveman days and never launch anymore satellites since they all will be disabled anyway.

Get real guys! What a lame excuse for shorting CDRD! Wall Street doesn't seem to buy that one. Up $1.75 today!
