Lee> Unfortunately I'm not the one to ask. But assessing the overall picture, I would guess that Franklin did not have the software up and running to suit those that called. Frank wanted everything labeled and build in-house. Whether that plays a long term advantage remains to be seen. In short though, we could have missed the smaller boats, awaiting the Merchant or War ships. I see it as>

Network, hardware, software...............all in 1 package. There is not, and I repeat not another company doing just that. So why is that such a big deal?

Let me ask a question? If the "Franlin International NetworK" >ticker symbol ***FINK*** <ggg has built an a large-looped-worldwide-intranet, how could you think Franklin would pay the local bells for usage? Sure there would be a (service funding tax - if and when that goes through), but paying into the local exchange? What local exchange? ggg

Even if Franklin International was labeled a "carrier" thereby taxed, the results would still show that using the gateways of Franklin would be cheaper, just the fact that their in their own "virtual-telephony-network".

Now, if AT&T, and others are continually showing the FCC the future is "IP Telephony"?, there is no worry mate, because sooner than later the local bells (who are now screaming), will have direct access to long distance in accordance with the 96 Telecom Act.

Its hard to see, but not that difficult to visualize> ggg
