Taht's the part that has me, uhm, mystified. The most free society, rather axiomatically, does not require or benefit from an ideology. I see a contradiction here.
To me, the whole point, and the paradox, of freedom is the choice to disassociate the individual ethic from a "philosophy" or other collective ideal.
Like you&me, right here, right now, free to disagree.
