Yes, Toshiba stopped using their own decoders in favor of Cube's. Zoran was/is(?) an AC3 supplier to Toshiba. "So isn't it possible Hitachi could have jumped to ZRAN?" Sure, I just didn't understand the post. I thought you were indicating Hitachi switched from Zoran to Cube, which would have been news to me.
