A pack of cigarettes cost about $2, including $0.24 federal tax and around $0.4 state tax. Now, MaCain wants to add another $1.1 tax on it. Great tactic to reduce national debt by levying more tax from the poor by raising tax 200% in five years. McCain probably hadn't pay a penny in cigarette tax - he smokes cigar instead.
