That has rather been my point all along. Unless you want to live alone (then you can have a "perfect" free society) you have tradeoffs.

Alex: The concept of a free society being defined as truly free by allowing bands of roaming thugs to kill, rape and pilfer at will is almost an insane concept. Individual freedom in a society does not mean that acts violating the rights of others should be tolerated, just the opposite; it means that objective laws must be enforced to protect each individual's rights. The great problem we face today is that a myriad of "laws" have been created that are non-objective and totally subjective. Freedom is not a balance between legalized government theft or those that have needs having an automatic lien on those that have ability and produce. See what the government sponsored public schools and parrot media have programmed people with? What a bunch of crap! FT
