I think you better look at the past posts about S3 operational earnings before the USC 1/3 sale. If you are saying they will post similar results, then you know what you will get.

last i knew, S3D is not shipping in quantities great enough to any dent on revenue line. in fact i don't know its shipping to developers yet? maybe i'm late on this.

I heard that the the game developer booth that S3 set up had the Voodoo 2 running D3D versions of quake, which has it running a lot slower than when running openGL version. So naturally the S3D chip beat it in terms of frame rates. If true, then i am really disappointed in S3 sales and marketing. They are trying to hoodwink who they think is a stupid public - again. Last time this happened was that GX2 fiasco.

sorry, but I'm still really disappointed in the company. It hasn't substantiated the mass of R&D funds plowed in the last 1.5 yrs.

i'm still a long term/long suffering holder
