I had a thought the other day, freeus. If the govt wants Microsoft to remove the browser capabilities from Win98, then perhaps it will be necessary to allow them (the govt) to do that. No, I'm not going crazy. A captain on the battlefield (the DOJ) doesn't send his soldiers anyplace that he wouldn't go himself in their place, right? So Microsoft could humbly comply, and send the govt the source code for Win98 saying "okay oh great one, rewrite Win98 as you see fit, then send us the CD back when you are satisified the code is no longer in violation." Meanwhile of course, MSFT would have to keep using the current "whole" Win98. Can you imagine the government trying to rewrite Win98? -GGGG-
