Ok,
reread the press releases. They were preannouncing actually that something was about to be done with the MIDLP by Alpril 18th:

"Management also is taking investment advisement on the share structure of Midland; particularly the Series ''A'' preferred on ways to enhance the total value for sophisticated and institutional investors." This means they got some institutions in - already comitted. Also the fact that MIDLP is more liquid shines out. Back then spread was like 12x17. Then before the preferred announcement in May it narrowed to 14x15 or so. I could conclude that institutionals are in now..

The link to Exxon is Maverick Engineering as I see it now. They build the plant and are forwarding the MWDS data to Exxon. Could be that XON will be buying capacity from the newly errected DF-144 plant when the test-samples are ok..
