Nice reading Sergio-I highlight this sentence--"The April decline in housing starts was due to a large decline in
the volatile multi-family aggregate, while the more relevant
single family series managed to rise relative to its already
impressive Q1 average." One of the pains of new
house sales figures and such is they are not company specific.I see
being in DHI a position play now--that is sitting in the right seat and
remaining there for the turning.Though I hope I don't have to,I am prepared to buy down,if I have to--the idea being, the price you need to get to on the return trip to make a handsome profit gets lower
and lower. But I should stress, buying down should not be emotion based or automatic strategy-one must believe in the fundamentals of a company and the basic prognosis as O.K. for the sector.
I am all tied up in DHI,but I see where MDC's P/E is now at 10/1--
regards that fellow who is sending you nasty e-mail whenever you mention DHI.I suspect he is an SI lurker who just grabs a ticker being
discussed optimistically on a thread thinking that is how one makes money, and then goes bananas when Manna does not fall from heaven.Sounds like he loaded up at 23+--Buena Suerte, max
