John: Re: Cable modem ...

One of these days, the thriving metropolis of Sedona will burst full speed into the 90's and provide cable modem service.

Until then, we're stuck with 56KB max. Geez.

Quite a tradeoff ...
1) The beauty of a blazing Sedona sunset
2) The beauty of blazing Internet access

Hmmmmm ...

I guess I can wait a while for the faster Internet access.

Regards,

TED

just a speculative guess: Mirabilis will continue serving existing clients from their own infrastructure, but also provide their server setup software to AOL, so that any newcomers from AOL are served from there.

Or, Mirabilis completely upgrades to handle the total traffic.

Out of curiousity, what's the going rate for cable modem service in your area? Here, it's generally $40/mo. and they bring the box&#151similar to standard cable TV arrangements. Same for you?
