COMS is headed down to 22-23 just like ASND did last year. It will rise back to 48 in about 9 months once the new bottom is reached. Again that is what ASND did. These companies lose their way drop to levels that are way oversold and rebound giving a great profit to those that enter at the bottom. Don't try to catch a falling knife I did that with ASND brought at 43 at 33 and at 23 learned my lesson well will get COMS at 23 or will not get it at all.

To COMS thread:

This is from the Analog Devices INC. (ADI) earnings
report:

<<<
"Our general-purpose DSP IC revenues grew 16% year over year in the second
quarter," commented Mr. Fishman, "but declined sequentially following a very
strong first quarter. This is consistent with results recently reported by other
leading DSP IC suppliers. General-purpose DSP orders began picking up in
April, led by strong activity from leading remote access server (RAS)
modem manufacturers for our low-power DSP modem products.
Our RAS
customers include the largest RAS equipment manufacturers in the U.S. and
Europe. . . .>>>

Anybody have any idea who the modem manufacturers are? Even
if it's not COMS, at least it may show that 56K Modem sales
are picking up.

Any comments?

joe

>>> I think the main reason coms dropped so much these last couple weeks are that :

1. Intel, mot, hwp and even msft - these high-tech leaders - are dropping, in the case of intc and hwp, the drop was pretty steap.

2. A self fullfilling prophecy that the market shall correct in June so MM and big-guys led the pack and started to dump first. <<<

I hear lots of excuses as to why COMS is dropping but some aren't willing to admit that it's entirely COMS fault. A$ND is rebounding nicely, C$CO is making new highs, FORE and XYLN are approaching 52 week highs.

I am beginning to think that COMS won't stop going down until the bulls accept that COMS has screwed up big time and everyone decides to run for the exits.
