Chris,
I waited and bought the Dell 400mhz machine. Got it last week. It's very nice. I don't know about most folks but I don't have $1500.00 bucks to drop on a new unit every year as the price drops and the speed increases. So I save for two to three years then buy the fastest one I can get. I figure the high end machine will remain viable until I can afford the next one. I've done this since 1984 and it seems to work very well. I would only have purchased the 266mhz machine if I couldn't have afforded more. -Keith-
