Jon, With all this antitrust stuff Intel would be very wise to stick to their core business which is getting eaten up big time on the lower end(margin wise as well as market share wise). The noise factor is huge if you take my new creative labs speakers ($265 with the tweeters and the powered subwoofer)and hook them into the Awe 32 card the music is ok but then put then on a regular CD portable 10X better, then in the back of a good amplifier (Onkyo) another 10X better. We shall see if the new creative card is better then this present lousy fidelity out of the Easy Bake oven. DrRisk Creative has nothing to fear from Intel IMHO
