I would pay the $200 and a monthly subscriber fee of $20 without second thoughts. My "popular" music is opera, jazz, and classical. I can hear "rock-and-roll" or "90's" music anytime (and enjoy them both as well), but am at the mercy of public radio (or my CD's) for the other. When I want to hear popular stuff, pushing buttons is easy enough when the ads come on. My commute to work is a meager 20 minutes, but I would pay gladly to hear what I want, when I want.

Would the rest of you do the same? I would appreciate a poll of the longs/shorts as to the attractiveness of this operation from your varying personal perspectives. Most folks, I would guess, cannot afford a service like this. Perhaps we are a good sampling from the group ultimately marketed upon to subscribe.

Thanks,

John
