MVIS is not a competitor to XYBR. If anything MVIS would become a vendor to XYBR. They are developing a high resolution display that "beams" the video image directly onto the retina of the eye (it's called VRD-Virtual Retina Display). It uses low power laser to achieve this, really cool stuff. The whole thing is really small and looks like a regular pair of eye glasses. People won't know you are wearing them.

MVIS is not making a computer, ONLY the display mechanism.

Their web site is mvis.com

Well, to be honest I am new to XYBR. But I have followed MVIS for the last year or so. Goto www.mvis.com for more info on them.

But, they have been working with Boeing and the military for defence applications. Boeing is considering using their product exclusively. In that, I believe MVIS has a leg up on XYBR.

Same goes for the military.

MVIS casts an image on the eye's retina. I emailed MVIS once about health implications and FDA approval. There are apparently no health implications, thus no FDA approval is needed, I think because of the frequency bandwith of the image cast onto the eyes, which makes the brain think it is seeing something it really isn't. Kind of like a heads up display in your car.

Much of what I have said is IMO. I think XYBR has potential, but more so in the personal use product (alliance with Sony is proof) than for applications such as military use.
