Oh, I was just so totally impressed by the sil.org site. Yes, back in the 13000s we were talking about Wells' ideas and language family trees, and Apache came up. Here on this sil.org page sil.org they see a relation with the Athapaskan group which stretches over most of this continent. Even Haida. Stuff like this just intrigues me, the inter-woven roots we all have, whether in religion or language or blood.

My underlying theory, way back when, was that mankind found both language and religion useful and desirable, and so invented them. Invented them separately and independently in various corners of the planet, and then moved around and mixed it up with believers/speakers of other disciplines/tongues. Leading to a web of inter-relationships that people like this sil.org can sort out. I wonder if there's an url like this out there for religions? Sort of a cosmic overview - I mean, if an alien from another star system was to call you up and ask you to explain religion, where would you start?

Yeah, right - I know - Genesis 1:1 -g- ......... cheers ...... marcos
