**OT** Not PSUN related...more like semimadness and maybe some semijoltitis.

Duane,

I might be being greedy OR I might be being revengeful, but when I look at this snapshot I see your 48 and I could be a believer:

207.95.154.130

BUT

When I look at this little pix, I see 40 (tres greedy!!):

Go to fast quotes and hit monthly chart (the URL won't link for me).

Revengeful b/c why should VTSS be spared while everything else is being sent right back to "go" as we speak?? I loved the way the market tossed a load of mud TK's way, but we all shoulda traded out a lot earlier, like thieves in the night!!....oh, cruel hindsight!!!

So now, the big question is will SOX fold down to 242 and take them all with it? OR will it fling a tad more mud in TK's direction?

Still don't think TK comes out smelling like a rosa in any case.....no sir.

E

Pacific Sunwear Reports May Sales Increase 50% Same Store Sales up 11%

biz.yahoo.com

>>Greg Weaver, chairman and chief executive officer, said: ''May was another good month for Pacific Sunwear and marked 31 months of consecutive same store sales increases. Our new stores continue to produce strong initial results in line with the average first year sales trend of $1 million achieved in both 1996 and 1997. Our relocations and expansions to the larger format continue to exceed expectations and our newly relocated Roosevelt Field store is expected to be our first $3 million store. During June we will open our 300th store and expect to open a total of 20 new stores during the quarter. I'm also pleased to announce that we opened 5 new d.e.m.o. stores during the month of May.''

Sales for the first 17 weeks of fiscal 1998 were $81.2 million, an increase of 55 percent over sales of $52.3 million for the same period of fiscal 1997. Same store sales increased 14 percent for the first 17 weeks of fiscal 1998. <<
