De Beers have bought the mineral rights from NGS.
Why do you think that SUF have the upper hand?
They had no court case at all and are now relying on the Minister to decide in their favour.
Read Section 24 and stop dreaming.
SUF had every opportunity to resolve this whole issue in January but De Beers took the initiative and put their money on the table after examining the facts.
I note that SUF are marketing their 22,000 carats in precisely the same way that the heirs marketed their mineral rights.
I am not sure that everyone shares your optimism about Angola..

P.S. Have you seen the movie ' A river runs through it ' ?
