Are you going to invest LONG (for the future) or SHORT (for the now)? Timing is always tough, and this market is no different. DELL could have gone up as easily as down. If you are LONG, ins a year, the price will seem like a deal. If you are SHORT, you have already lost some money. I'm down from $98, but I think DELL will recover!

What was your rationale for selling at 90 ? After having made a
good choice (20/20 hindsight), why did you get back in at 92 ?
Did you by any chance sell last friday and buy back on monday? What may be missing from your toolkit is awareness of the games people play around option expirations. This quarter they expired a couple of days before the earnings report which gave the MM's a grand opportunity to shake the tree. Hunt around the option threads, you'll
pick up a bunch of useful stuff.
