Christine, you are being unrealistically idealistic. Outlaw the guns and guess what ? The one's that would most likely use them in violence will find a way to acquire them, the rest of us will have no recourse but 911. Someone who is capable of a felony like manslaughter or murder, will not be particularly encumbered by a misdemeanor weapons possession violation. On the day guns were outlawed the black market for guns would soar, and many million pieces would vanish.

And most importantly, on the day that guns are outlawed, nothing changes with regard to school massacres, except the psychological appeal of guns goes up.

You seem to have avoided taking issue for or against my idea of reigning in the Hollywood movie industry, through some sort of bully pulpit preaching or other creative way to get those in charge to self regulate out of violence peddling.
