Pulled ofrom Yahoo PC Week (May 18) said, "Oracle plans to significantly boost the object capabilities of its object-relational database in upgrades due late this year and in 1999." The scoop here is that the phased-in approach of adding object capabilities to Oracle8 seems to be just the ticket for users who are slowly getting used to the idea, and the practice of integrating them.
