Thanks Friday May 22, 9:36 am Eastern Time RESEARCH ALERT - 3DLabs cut to hold NEW YORK, May 22 (Reuters) - CIBC Oppenheimer & Co. analyst Lenny Brecken said Friday he downgraded 3DLabs Inc. Ltd. to hold from strong buy. -- reduced earnings estimate to $0.40 per share from $1.02 for 1998, and to $0.77 from $1.54 for 1999. -- cited lack of earnings in its high-end computer graphics chip business, and aggressive competition on prices from Intel Corp.'s <INTC.O > I740 graphics chip in the Fear East.
