No, you are not the enemy. The point of this forum is to debate the issues. I do get carried away, but what I have seen over the past year or years is that the stock has been accumulated. I believe the majority of the shareholders are not jumping in and out of the stock. They may let some of their supply go for reasons other than being disenchanted with OE. But when a stock is accumulated over a period of time by strong hands, when strategic news hits, the market makers will jack up the price of the stock fast because they have a limited supply. By jacking the price up they hope to reduce the demand. They are obligated to make a market in the stock even if they have to take a short position in it. By them shorting they are borrowing shares to deliver to the buyer. If there are no shares to borrow, he raises the price until the demand stops or sellers come in. The market makers make their money on the price spread, not by taking a position. This is not to say they never take a position for their own account but that is not the business they are into. OE could also become a moment play by those who buy stock because the stock is going up. But this will not happen until strategic news hits the market and the news stories continue to come in. This is characteristic of the internet stocks and the fuel cell stocks. My conservative view however is that with the strategic news, whenever that should occur, the shareholders will evaluate the financial potential and realize the huge potential current income play that can develop with the royalty income that OE will earn. Right now, the stock is being accumulated like you are doing, picking up shares whenever the stock drops below a specific price point. The price of the stock can go up because everyone has a difference price point to pick up the stock. It could be unfortunate for some whose price points are too low.

I'm sorry for this long post but this is my thinking as to why a doubling could occur. Its really dependent on the quality of the news. Also, a doubling would only put the stock at 10 dollars. The stock doubled recently since the first of the year or slightly before. This is no great feat, low price stocks often are capable of doing this, besides, the historic highs have been over $25 when all the news were promises. Today the company has clients who have product in the market and will have product in the near term. The big cash cow is the automotive industry and a similar commitment is needed. But what we do know now that there are in fact automotive companies (The Syndicates) who put up real cash (albeit hedged) to bring product to market.

In regards to credibility, I am not looking to be credible because I'm not supporting a business or seek clients. It could be my ego, however. I am a small investor who sees an opportunity and wish to share my opinion with others and hear their opinions and learn what they know. Maverick you have been very helpfull to open my eyes to issues I was not aware of. That is the purpose of the Forums.

Also, as optimistic I am about the stock, there are those who are very pessimistic. The equation in this case is balanced. The trick is to determine which side of the equation the algorithm is flawed or has less potential. That's what speculation is all about.

On to doubling!

I am very optimistic about OE. I believe their technology is the best of the DFI's, and that will reap them some good customers. I appreciate that everyone is not an automotive enthusiast, but I still think the performance of many of these powerplant alternatives will disappoint most consumers in one way or another (cold weather performance, range, acceleration, purchase cost, maintenance cost, reliability, towing capacity, whatever). As the oil resources of the earth become more scarce, these alternatives become more appealing. But right now that's just not the case. Perhaps in ten years (probably longer). We are together on this Pierre. I'm not selling shares, I'm buying them. Although I will admit to selling a few shares at $5.50 and buying them back at $5.00 once when I was aggravated. But "day trading" this stock means you're risking being "out" when the announcement hits....
