Good points! The $50 million venture capital fund they set up may address some one the deveoper incentive issues you brought up. Overall, Novell and Schmidt seem to be going after a different set of products and services that going head-to-head with MSFT. Novell's application is the network and the services they can bring to it to make it more effective and productive, IMO. So Bordermanager, ZEN and NDS are all network enhancing services and software that makes the network smarter, work harder and more productive in the service of the client firm's business. NOVL is also selling this tool set to the TelCos who in turn retail these services to retail and business customers. Time will tell if the momentum that is being built will return NOVL to a highly profitable and growing status. Good Investing. Terry
