everybody on this thread: topic: The fine line between private chat rooms and public forums: A little sensitivity in order? Hey why don't you guys set up a topic for thread geniuses or thread comedians. Ever since I discovered this thread I live in fear that some of my posts will someday be linked to from here. We all stay stupid things and make mistakes, any one of us could end up here. Can you imagine how bad somebody feels, when after posting something stupid--and it becomes a permanent fixture on the web, they find they are forever branded a moron for all to see--how humiliating. Now some of your links are very funny, but maybe the most mean-spirited examples could be re-thought before they are posted. It is a lot of fun to come across a post which is clever, written well, and gives some good stock information. There are a lot of great comedians on SI too. Anyway, not to take all the wind out of your sails, but somebody on the thread made a crack about some member's profile--the biceps thing, that was below the belt. Altho I am a lardbutt trader like many of the rest of you now, I used to work out and lift weights, and I don't remember being any dumber back then than I am now... Now don't go out looking for my worst post, I admit I'm an idiot, here is proof: I was just trying to double check the spelling of genius, and it took two minutes to realize I was using my wife's french dictionary.
