John, Downdraft in VLSI may be Something Other Than Fundamental

Have been at this many years, and bought and sold VLSI manytimes. VLSI is an easy stock to manipulate--combine that with it being in a weak group, many day trading operations can target a stock such as VLSI and through rapid grouped trades can really drive the stock up or down. In fact this type of activity is easier on the downside. So, if one knows a company well, and is sure of its financials and technolgy, one can reap huge returns by watching a stock move lower and lower, and pick it up at bargain basement prices. Problem is knowing when a bottom has been reached. It is difficult to do that, so best approach is avearge into a position with the intention to hold for the longer term, when all the day trading gurus--are on to another target, and have long forgot about your stock. Think there is a smart group of people on this tread--and that is what they are doing. Best wishes
