NEW YORK, May 22 (UPI) - The makers of the blockbuster drug Viagra are warning doctors the impotence pill is not for everyone. Officials at Pfizer say men using nitroglycerin and nitrate-based medications for chest pains should not take Viagra, because together the drugs could cause ''large and sudden'' drops in blood pressure. The company says it will send information about the dangers of mixing the two drugs to emergency room professionals. The company also suggests doctors
assess their patients' level of physical fitness before giving them the drug, because sexual intercourse, like other forms of physical exertion, increases heart rate.
