Paul, I really appreciate your input and expertise in the differences between some of these companies that are oftimes grouped as ECM's. A recent analyst was rec smod because because of their diversity saying that they were not AS dependent on box makers as others may have been. I see the entire industry's severe downturn in recent months as being more attributable to inventory glut on the part of the oem's, than to slowdown in asia sales, or asian competition. Inventories ARE being worked off. JBL a steal. Bill

Paul was thinking about the HP deal and what it means to JBL ,isnt it amazing and doesnt it say alot for a company like jbl to pull this big a deal off,just think this is a big boy deal,HP could have sold this to anyone but they then have to live with them as a partner,I would say that getting this deal says plenty, like this company has the following (good management,first class performance,world wide delievery,high quaility manufactoring,has proven ablity to handle fast growth and much more.Iam sure that all the want to be's (to be like sci&slr) are green with envy ,one thing they got for sure is jbl does the big deals and that they dont scrape the barrel and their not bottom feeders ,JBL is a player.JMHO Patroller
