Hold on! Don't panic! Even if SMOD just makes the estimates that Ajay gave yesterday, we are looking at
Q1: $.35 (in the bag)
Q2: $.30 (in the bag)
Q3: $.19 (ajay est.)
Q4: $.25 (ajay est.)
--------
FY98 $1.09 which is in line (flat) w.r.t. FY97.

With those numbers, the current (pre-CC) price of low $20's are reasonable. I'm looking for SMOD to recover to the high teens next week when reason prevails.

I disagree, on their 1Q call projected a "relatively small" sequential revenue decline because of a missed "qualifacation window". "It was an issue of convincing the customer that we could service their demand" CEO Ajay Shah said. CFO David Mullin also said the company sees the problem as short-term. "We think that this is a very specific issue and we can get it contained in a short time frame...certainly within the quarter," he said. Meanwhile the business gets worse and they say nothing until the 2Q bombshell. Security suits have been filed on less grounds. I hate lawyers and security suits, but I still think one will be filed in this case. It lost more than 50% since the the 1Q call. Life sucks...
