Thanks Janice: I will pass it on to her that ICQ does work with AOL. Who knows what the problem was? One of the points I was making is that AOL is slow. It is a fact that the more users on a server the slower it gets. You add servers and hope to keep up or you do as AOL does and push it beyond the limit until users scream load enough and then add servers. As with any ISP it is an economic trade off. My old ISP here in Phoenix was small but kept up and I connected at 33.6 all the time. AOLers simply do not know YET how slow it is. I have not a clue as to how AOL/ICQ will interface. You could be right there. Yes there is buku competition with big bucks. I also do not have a clue as to what Catalyst has as a product to compete with. IMHO what they are all after is the huge advertising potential. Just a tiny slice of the pie COULD be big.
