The technology is familiar, I can't remember off the tips of my fingers who was promoting something like this.. Cabot perhaps? There's a vertible gulf between the bid and ask. The stock has to run up to almost 2.5 to break even from here, thin trading. The other thing that bothers me a tad is the large recent selloff... which looks like an exit for an insider or a company adjustment/news. This is vague because I really don't know the technology or the company.. but I'll follow it for awhile. As you say it may be a longer term winner. It will be intesting to watch as this tech selloff progresses. If you have some insight into kids in school acting like disgruntled postal workers let me know.
