I can understand your frustration but look on the bright side. MOT will surely be an aquisition candidate in this market. IMO lots of companies would like to get their hands on MOT. If anyone has any ideas please share them as too who these companies might be.

How many different projects can Motorola abandon?

That's pretty narrowminded to see Motorola's investment in Teledesic as an abandonment of Celestri.

Of course, you probably don't realize that Teledesic has already gotten the specturm allocations necessary for high bandwidth service, and that this pretty much proves that Teledesic would not have been able to get off of the ground without Motorola's expertise.

Most in the Sat industry see this is a good move for Motorola-- they are getting a lot without having to invest much and they don't have to raise $11 billion. In otherwords, they are likely getting the same return on $750 million that they would have gotten after raising $11 billion.
