David,

Bank of Cairo is a good example of an Intranet application....no RatMan here, just net security. If an employee of the bank is unwilling to identify themselves with a print....then they may be shown the door.

Many many banks will adopt this type of system. It pays for it's self in no time through reduction of fraud on the part of bank employees...internally. This is a no-brainer for almost any bank. Money saved goes directly to the bottom line.

The idea that a bank that goes to a system like this has a problem will diminish as biometrics becomes more accepted.......Very soon, it will be viewed as just being a smart move. The same can be said for many T&M applications dealing with employee access to sensitive areas.

ps. What is going on with DBII?......Huge volume, no company news. Do they think they have a leg-up in the lawsuit or a big contract? The huge volume hit yesterday at about 11 AM EST.
