Wouldn't that be nice. Is Viagra another Redux or Phen Phen -- We will know shortly and so will the shorts.

<<HEARING FROM RELIABLE SOURCE THAT VIAGRA MAY BE PULLED FROM SHELVES!!>>

That might be taking it a little far. There was some news about the FDA investigating the deaths of the six men and also requiring PFE to give consumers more information. The one thing PFE has for defense is the age and conditions of a lot of the people using such drugs. If this was a drug targeted at healthy younger people, I think it would be off the shelves already. We shall see what happens. I wouldn't mind if it were taken off the shelves.

The action today is related to PFE news more than anything Leeland did not say (i.e. no comment on offers to buy the company).IMHO.

Standing erect,
Colby

P.S. The nice thing about a competitor that gets as much media exposure as PFE did before it was approved is it gets as much once it is approved, especially if it is negative.

CNN just announced that the recent news on Viagra is "potentially
devestating" for Pfizer shareholders.

I would be surprised if the FDA pulls Viagra since they are in bed with Pfizer. Big money takes precedent over human life. Let's see Redux was pulled because they "thought" that it might have detrimental effects on heart valves. We now know that 6 men died from severe hypotension. We can say that these men should have known better since they probably took nitro concurrently. If the FDA is concerned about protecting the public, they should pull Viagra until they are done with their investigation as apposed to deciding after the investigation.
