Ray, I too called Antares yesterday and had a nice call back from Peter Southward in which he stated almost everything you say. I wasn't there to get the call and I have his words on tape. 1. The report from Strathcona has been received by Antares but nothing from it in the way of a news release will be publicly stated until their partner, AGC, has had a chance to review it and respond. 2. There will very likely be a least one news release next week (May 25 - 29), but no hint as to its content was broached. 3. The annual report should be completed by June 1, and a date for the AGM has been set for early July. Peter went on to say words to the effect that the Creek zone is front and center on the company's agenda. They are ready to begin drilling the first of June. The resource estimate on the Toodoggone appeared to take a back seat to significance being placed on the Creek zone. Speaking for myself, now, I think the company has maintained a great deal of composure in their shareholder relations through a difficult period: the collapse of Bre-X, the sell-off in gold, the financial turmoil in the Asian financial marks, and most recently the political unrest in Indonesia. It appears the company has prudently conserved its resources in order to ride out the storm. It will only take a few more cores from the Creek zone (like the one we all know about) to reverse the seemingly inexorable decline in share price over the last year. I'm looking forward with firm conviction that we'll all be happy we held on to our Antares shares come the end of June. Just my humble opinion only! Don
