Intel Invests in Israeli Information Security
Co RADGUARD of RAD-Bynet Group

By Efi Landau

Intel has recently completed an investment in Israeli
information security company RADGUARD of the
RAD-Bynet Group.

RADGUARD, founded in 1994 by general manager Eli
Hershkovitz and brothers Yehuda and Zohar Zisappel, has
developed information security solutions for private virtual
networks (VPN).Intel refuses to disclose how much money it
invested in RADGUARD and what its share of the company
is now.

RADGUARD's information security products enable
organisations to create their own private communications
networks on the public communications network while
blocking access by unauthorised users. RADGUARD's VPN
solution was a contender in the security products category
in the final of "Byte" magazine's competition at the Cebit
exhibition in Germany in March.
