HB, Whoever thought fish meal would be Excite-ing. <G>

Southwest is a dandy little regional operation. I find the facts in their reports excellent and, in some cases, the only coverage. However, like other brokerage firms, they suffer from IB-itis, trying to woo every co. as a corp finance customer, so they are overly bullish in their recommendations. So, net, net, I would definitely read the texts of their reports for solid information. I would pay absolutely no attention to their investment opinion.

As far as an investment goes, I don't like any brokerage firms at this high level in the market. If and when there is a crash, they are all dead meat. And I fear Southwest may not be much of a catch for a takeover. Too small and compartmentalized.
