X, where do you see strength? Only the Dow is really rallying much - the NAZ is still weak and Nasdaq and NYSE breadth are decidedly negative (5/3 and 17/9 in favor of declines respectively). Not convincing yet, I agree, but if it's a trap, I'm not sure who it's set for.

My gut feel is that this little rally that I'll call
"Hearbreak Hill" will fade and selling will get more
vigorous. No charts , no figures just GUTS.....
(and the fact that I own some puts.-ggg-)

X; I don't know..I came cash today except for some small
gold stocks. It does look like the MID and Small caps sold off
to save the blue chips. And this could work for an up week
next week as the internals did get more liquid ..it's been
a coin toss and narrow trading range now for two weeks.
She seems to have some support 1110. But I'm not happy long, or
short over the week end. Even if next week is up if she don't break
out of her trading range I won't be going back in till I see
what she looks like early June.
IF next week is not up , it good get ugly.
