Maybe they are trying to get the flippers out and pick up some more cheap stock.

If they know it's a done deal, and want more stock, this is a good way to put a little uncertainty into the market. It's a bit of an unusual press release.

Just wanted to respond to your comment re the refundable deposit. I understand that Safe wanted the deposit to be non-refundable but Roper insisted it be refundable. I would have thought that rather than being negative to Roper this shows canny management?
