I'm saying Dell is maturing into a 40% Y/Y growth range.

You need to understand how corporate purchases work. I have
a budget and I need to make purchasing decisions within a certain
timeframe. I need to upgrade my department TODAY... not six months
from now when 450/500Mhz systems are shipping. If you play the
six month waiting game you'll never purchase because the TCO
equation doesn't change by waiting. Not only that, my competitors
who buy today gain an advantage over me.

I have timelines, deadlines and NT migration plans for lots of
workstation users to deal with. We have product to design coupled with software vendor schedules and functionality upgrades that require specific hardware to contend with. There are many many
more issues... price per box is not really on the radar screen.

We don't sit around waiting for prices to drop a few hunderd bucks.
When it's time to upgrade, you do it.
