This new announcement seems like excellent news, but I am worried about one sentence: "Last week, the company announced the U.S. Army has agreed to a research and development effort to develop
the OX-2 engine for use in tanks." This seems to exaggerate what was announced last week. Last week it was announced that the Army was considering such an effort. I hope this is not indicative of hyping as it scares me. If the engine is good, the facts alone will speak for themselves and any kind of hyping just lands the company in the category of another Bulletin Board stock overstating its case.
This announcement does excite me though, especially what Carroll Shelby has to say about the engine. I don't know much about engines, and I have been very impressed with what Sword and Shas and other critics have been saying as I think they have excellent points, but I am putting some money on Shelby's reputation and knowledge and first-hand acquaintance with the engine. Let's hope he is right.
