Did I miss something? Does DOJ expect Microsoft to REMOVE internet functionality in some future release of Windows?

Robert,

I agree. MSFT will have huge sales of win 98 especially during the next three months as people rush to buy their new boxes before DOJ screws around with win 98, if they ever do. (Why buy an inferior product six months from now when you can get the real deal now?) That means MSFT and everyone else asscoiated with boxes (INTC, CPQ) should have exceptional earnings these next two quarters as the channels are cleared and new win 98 boxes are sold to everyone in sight. The MSFT trial on September 8 and the fact that MSFT can still sell win 98 was never factored into this and next quarter earnings forecasts. The analysts should revise earnings estimates for the next two quarters based on this most recent news.
