weekend project: VLAB NASDAQ Yes Ive posted this one before.. VLAB trades tight, doesnt take much to get it moving.... zero debt, low float (2.9 mil), 4,538,000 outstanding... gross profit / profit margins up every year last 3 years recent insider buying, CEO bought 170,000 shares company redeemed and retired 91,231 shares 25% held by top 4 insiders.... 3 year eps growth rate 100% hoover income statement hoovers.com dailystocks.net VideoLabs, Inc. Announces a Nine Percent Increase in 1st Quarter Earnings and the Closing of an Acquisition biz.yahoo.com quote.yahoo.com Videolabs, Inc. designs and manufactures image capture, transmission and manipulation devices for use as components of systems for identification, medical, desktop computer video, and computer-based and non-computer based solutions. For the fiscal year ended 12/97, sales fell 6% to $6.9 million. Net income totalled $753 thousand vs. a loss of $2.4 million. Revenues suffered from restructuring early in the year. Net income reflects increased gross profit, and lower selling expenses. Just got a letter to sharelholders in mail today, highlights CEO bought 100,000 shares recently.... expanding through acquisitions.. if anyone is into this one and finds good/bad news please post all DD here... lets make it a group project. I also posted this on J Copia thread... hopefully there will be enough interest to scope this one out and get in next week.. news due soon regarding Switzerland trade show and recent stockholders meeting..... this one is NOT in the middle of a run... if we like it, we'll all be in from the start... last time this thread got in, we did it halfway and rode to around 1 1/2... at current levels, not much downside.... worth at least a look ..
