Ed,
educate me....... Year end selling pressure on a losing dog I can see being tough. Month end selling pressure on a junior play that has recently been wiped a bit, does that really count? I am not sure and would appreciate more explanation only to learn. I would have thought that anyone playing with these, even to trade, would want to continue playing and taking a loss by selling for the month's end only means that ( tax-wise ) it will be a wash sale if bought back within I believe 30 days. Is that correct? So, if it is portfolio managers who want to clean up their positions then OK but the common investor, little guy who is playing would be dumping out of fear not because of month end.
Where I have erred (sp?) in my thinking let me know.
Just my thoughts.
have a great night.
