[ Lucent Technologies: LU ]

Lucent's trend strength is continuing to deteriorate. It has to make a stand at these levels (i.e. move up) or else the price trend will likely exhibit an extended period of flatness, or experience weakness to as low as the mid-$60-range in the near term.

The technical weakness exhibited in LU's chart is very similar to what Sun Microsystems experienced near its peak in late September of last year. Who would've thought it would lose 25% of its value in just over a month.

The charts have spoken.

Regards,

Rainier

[MANU]

Bought some late friday @ 28.75, today it opened @ 30.125 and by the
I was able to exit it was @30.50 . Phew, not worth the over weekend hold, I need to be smarter about this. Going forward (3-6 months) I see MANU as a busted tech to watch. It could go lower but if it starts to form a base at these levels I like to watch the volume over time.
As the summed amount of shares approaches the a stock's float
the *turned over* issue very often comes back to life.
