I am having trouble accessing the website you posted. Can you check if it is correct, post part of the article, or give a summary? Thanks.

If you can't get that link (which I couldn't) the report says:

Alydaar eyes handful of deals

Alydaar Software Corp. is eyeing at least five potential acquisitions and expects to announce the first deals as it tries to grow beyond its core Year 2000 consulting business.

At its annual shareholders meeting Friday at the Park Hotel, chairman and chief executive Robert Gruder outlined plans to expand into the government contracting, software development, technology staffing and outsourcing businesses.

Gruder declined to identify the potential acquisitions but said all have larger revenues than Alydaar, ''We are very conscious of buying the right companies that will give us a one plus one equals three sum.''

Also at Friday's meeting, shareholders overwhelmingly approved expanding its board of directors from five to nine members and increasing the number of authorized shares from 20 million to 50 million. Gruder has said those steps are necessary to smooth potential acquisitions.
