You know David, Banks who finance mining companies always ask for feasibility studies by 3rd party engeneering firms. In many occasion, mostly when the numbers are exceptional, they ask for an independent audit. Why do you think they do so? A few years ago, Hecla Mining wrote off an investment of several millions at Grouse Creek, even if proven reserves had been establsihed. Actual mining proved that the gold and silver were not economic to mine. And there are many examples like that. The reality is that mother earth has always some big surprise for us humans. The second reality is that humans make errors. It is only normal to be prudent when exceptional numbers are presented to you. CC
