Bernie, Don't look for much from me. I'll be at a soccer tournament all weekend (with a little fast pitch thrown in). However, this may be of interest to LGND shareholder:

(AP) - With impeccable timing, the PBS documentary "Cancer Wars"
arrives on the heels of the latest scientific discovery raising hopes
that the disease might be vanquished. "Cancer Wars" traces the
political, social and medical response to the illness over five
decades. It offers perspective and a reminder that caution should
temper both optimism and fear. The public tends to follow cancer
research sporadically - "some 'cure' that is front and center for a
few months, or some cause or scare," says executive producer Richard
Thomas. "We don't get the whole thing over 50 years, in context.
That's what we aim to do." The ambitious program, in four hourlong
parts on consecutive Monday nights through June 15 (check local
listings), ventures well beyond the scientific arena.

You can read about the program, which starts next Monday night, at:

Bernie >> Lilly has filed a 13D with the SEC today which extends the date on which LGND can ask them to buy $20 million of LGND stock at a 20% premium to the then market price & also choose to receive an extra 1 1/2% royalty on <<

Is LLY just giving LGND a gift? what does LLY get in return??
